Mark Yagelski
for
County Council ~ 3rd. District


Mark is a life long resident of the Michigan City Area. He and his wife Laurie (Wiencek) Yagelski of 21 years reside at 125 Boyd Circle. They have 2 children Jessica, currently a junior at the University of Detroit Mercy studying Architecture, and Jason a senior at Michigan City High School. Mark has been employed at Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 25 years.

Mark has been active in numerous civic clubs; such as Michigan City Booster Club, Moose Lodge 980, Fraternal Order of Police, SAL of Skwiat Post 451, Committee Chairman of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 822, Coolspring Democratic Club and St. Joseph Young Men's Club. He has held numerous board positions, club President and Co Chair of the save the fountain at Ames Field and has worked on campaign committees for other candidates.

Yagelski feels he has the leadership skills to be a good council person and can and will justify common sense decisions that are best for LaPorte County.

If elected from the 3rd. District all of his decisions reflects what happens to all people of LaPorte County.

Knowing that loss of jobs and a poor economy causes many problems and LaPorte County residents need someone in government that has common sense and knowledge to look ahead to help solve these problems.

One priority in promoting LaPorte County is new technology to make county government more efficient and less costly to the taxpayers.
